| Arguably the most famous and lovable android on Earth, R2-D2 is one of the only four characters to appear in all of the 6 Star Wars film. Hes so famous he was even invited to be a presenter at the 50th Academy Awards! What makes R2-D2 appealing is probably his shape and his high-pitched voice. We cant recreate the voice but we definitely can recreate the shape as seen on this rendition of "Artoo" as hes sometimes called. In this design, youll notice the artistic utilization of screws and spark plugs to highlight the details of the arms/legs. |
